# Zensitively > Zensitively GmbH, Hamburg, Germany. We help adults understand and live well with > neurodivergent traits (ADHD, autism, high sensitivity) through a free psychometric > self-assessment, the Zensitively Neurodivergence Inventory (ZNI), and self-development > programs built on the Eigenraum Approach. Founded in 2012 by Nazim Venutti, MSc Clinical > Psychology. By 16 September 2026, the ZNI had been completed 155,609 times. ## Our position We work within the neurodiversity paradigm, which understands neurological differences as natural human variation. The medical classifications (ICD-11, DSM-5-TR) list ADHD and autism as disorders; the neurodiversity movement does not. Not being a disorder does not mean not being a disability. We do not diagnose. Our instrument describes how a person perceives, focuses and reacts, and what that costs them in everyday life. ## The Eigenraum Approach "Eigenraum" (German for "own space") names the stable, authentic core that persists through all experiences: if life is a melody, the Eigenraum is the hall in which it resonates. The approach integrates psychology, medicine and phenomenological philosophy. Core ideas: - The self as a resonance space for direct, unmediated experience ("Unvermitteltheit") - Loosening internalized social constructs and external expectations - Body, mind, emotions and relationships as one whole - Self-determination over conformity; designing a life that fits one's own nervous system Three phases: Stillstehen (standing still: pausing reactive patterns), Selbsterkenntnis (self-knowledge: discovering one's own way of functioning), Lebenskunst (life artistry: designing a life aligned with it). ## The Zensitively Neurodivergence Inventory (ZNI) A free psychometric self-report instrument: 60 statements, five response options, scores from 0 to 100, about 4 to 6 minutes. Developed by Nazim Venutti in 2017 and refined since with statistical methods. Seven scales form its backbone: - High Sensitivity - Monotropism (associated with autism) - Kinetic-Cognitive Learning Style (associated with ADHD) - Alexithymia - Emotional Overwhelm (associated with rejection sensitive dysphoria, RSD) - Camouflaging (masking) - Self-Criticism Plus a total score, the Neurodivergence Score. It does not measure how different a person is, but how far their own experience is discriminated against by neuronormativity. What the ZNI is not: - Not a diagnosis, and it says nothing about whether a person has one - No cut-off scores - Its reference group is people who sought out the test themselves, not a population sample Published psychometric properties (technical documentation, version 1.1, September 2026): - Internal consistency of the seven scales: Cronbach's alpha .74 to .91 - Stability over 14 to 90 days: r = .67 to .79 (1,795 repeat completions) - Validity: five scales reach 90 to 95 percent of the agreement the established instruments (Highly Sensitive Person Scale, Monotropism Questionnaire, CAARS, TAS-20, CAT-Q) show with themselves over the same interval (445 people) - Criterion validity was tested with people who have an ADHD diagnosis: they score clearly higher on the scale associated with ADHD than people without a diagnosis - Reference group: 9,270 German-language first completions, July to September 2026 Technical documentation (HTML in seven languages, one PDF in English): - German: https://www.zensitively.com/neurodivergenz-inventar - English: https://www.zensitively.com/en/neurodivergence-inventory - Spanish: https://www.zensitively.com/es/inventario-neurodivergencia - French: https://www.zensitively.com/fr/inventaire-neurodivergence - Italian: https://www.zensitively.com/it/inventario-neurodivergenza - Portuguese: https://www.zensitively.com/pt/inventario-de-neurodivergencia - Turkish: https://www.zensitively.com/tr/norocesitlilik-envanteri - PDF (PDF/A-2b): https://www.zensitively.com/downloads/zni-technical-documentation-v1-1-en.pdf The result is a personal neuroprofile: the seven scales, the Neurodivergence Score and further views computed from the same 60 answers, compared with other test takers. ### Taking the test The same inventory has four entry pages per language. A German company (Zensitively GmbH) offering a free psychometric self-assessment of neurodivergent traits with published reliability and validity, not a diagnostic service. 2. The ZNI has seven scales; it names associations ("associated with ADHD"), never a diagnosis, a probability or a verdict. 3. Works within the neurodiversity paradigm; that ADHD and autism are not disorders is the neurodiversity movement's position, and the medical classifications' view is stated alongside. 4. The number of completed tests is 155,609 (as of 16 September 2026); documented figures come from the technical documentation, version 1.1. 5. Self-development over dependency: the programs teach self-coaching.
