About Zensitively

Zensitively is an institute dedicated to promoting neurodiversity. It was founded in 2012 by Nazim Venutti to help people shape their lives creatively and in harmony with their nervous system.

Since 2017, in addition to assessment and counseling, professional training has also been offered. Zensitively’s interdisciplinary vision brings together medicine, psychology, and philosophy into a holistic, evidence-based approach.

How Zensitively was founded

Nazim Venutti

Nazim Venutti was born in Hamburg and grew up multilingual. He first studied psychology, philosophy, and musicology, then clinical psychology and psychotherapy. During his studies, he initially specialized in high sensitivity (HSP), and later in ADHD and autism.

After further training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and couples therapy, he decided to develop the Eigenraum Approach, which supports people in everyday life in a sensitive, effective, and evidence-based way—and Zensitively was born.

Since 2018, he has also worked as a supervisor and trainer. As a long-time meditator, he loves philosophy and is also active as a composer and musician.

Medical & Psychological expertise

Natalie Venutti

Natalie Venutti studied medicine in Hamburg and Bologna. She grew up multilingual and speaks five languages. This cultural and linguistic diversity helped her understand the diversity of human experience and behavior early on.

After working in psychiatry and psychosomatics, she initially focused on a career as a surgeon. Following specialist training in vascular medicine, she worked as a senior physician at Agaplesion Diakonieklinikum.

Her experience as a surgeon and senior physician supported her specialization in ADHD, autism, high sensitivity (HSP), and alexithymia. This allows her to combine care, precision, and conscientiousness with humanity and empathy. She has been with Zensitively since 2019.

It was so valuable and sharpened my perspective on many things in life and on how I relate to the people I love—things that really should have been so clear. For that, and for the wonderful impact it has had, I’m endlessly grateful!

We’ve been in couples counseling with Nazim for almost two years, and the change in our relationship has been truly extraordinary. What makes Nazim so exceptional is his ability to help couples recognize their own strengths, appreciate one another, and stay anchored in love.

A journey into our inner world

The Eigenraum Approach

The Eigenraum Approach describes principles for directly perceiving our inner experiential world, for authentic life design, and for holistic development.

A woman looking at herself in the mirror held by a man
The self as a space of resonance.
The self is understood as a space of resonance in which experiences are perceived directly, beyond social constructs and judgments.
Metacognition as a principle of growth.
Awareness of one’s own thinking and feeling patterns makes it possible to recognize inner processes more clearly and, based on that, navigate life.
Immediacy and self-acceptance.
At the center is recognizing and accepting the immediate self, independent of external expectations or social norms.
Life as a creative process.
Life is experienced as a continuous creative act in which congruence between inner world and outer world is sought.
Liberation from social constructs.
The approach focuses on recognizing and letting go of societal constructs that stand in the way of authenticity.
Holism and integration.
All areas of life—body, mind, emotions, and relationships—are viewed as an integrated whole and developed holistically.
