The model offers a structured way to distinguish between fundamental strains—often shaped by modern lifestyles—and truly individual psychological patterns.
The core idea is that a meaningful exploration of personal themes only becomes possible once a stable foundation for physical and psychological well-being has been established. The process is therefore divided into two consecutive phases that build on each other.
In this universal preparation phase, the focus is on establishing holistic stability in the basic areas of life. The work concentrates on four domains:
Restoring physical balance through evidence-based protocols for movement, nutrition, and sleep.
Becoming aware of—and internally clarifying—the influence of key relationships on your own emotional well-being.
Stabilizing the brain’s reward system by reducing artificial stimulus spikes and supporting sustainable cycles.
Ruling out possible physical causes of symptoms—such as hormonal imbalances or nutrient deficiencies—in collaboration with a physician.
Once the foundation is established, the individual discovery process begins. It serves deep self-understanding and the development of metacognitive skills. This process has two central aspects:
This trains the ability to perceive your own inner world—thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations—with increasing nuance and without judgment.
This is the process of becoming aware of—and releasing—internalized limiting beliefs, behavioral patterns, and tension held in the body.
A simple feedback loop of observing, analyzing, and intervening serves as a tool for this phase, enabling structured self-reflection.
The overarching goal of this entire process is to perceive the so-called Eigenraum.
Eigenraum metaphorically describes the part within us that remains constant over time and through all experiences. If life is a melody, Eigenraum is the hall in which it resonates. It’s about getting to know the unique resonance of that hall.
It is an attempt to describe the lived experience of our stable, authentic parts of personality without resorting to metaphysical or purely psychological constructs.
